How to Stop Doing It All and Focus on What Matters Most as a Mom
This is what my organization looks like when I try to “do it all”
While talking to a friend over the weekend, we realized that somewhere along the way, moms got handed the invisible job description of “Do everything. Be everything. And look good doing it.”
Honestly? That’s a terrible job description. And it’s not even real. Those expectations are only imposed from us, and TOTALLY unrealistic.
The truth? You don’t have to do it all. You just have to do what matters most — and that’s enough.
* Your kids don’t need a Pinterest-perfect life. They need a present, imperfect, real mom.
* Your family doesn’t need gourmet dinners every night. They need connection at the table (or, let’s be honest, on the couch with pizza).
* The house doesn’t need to be ready for an IG reel. It just needs to be a loving place for everyone to connect.
* The job that you have right now (SAHM, part-time, or full time) doesn’t define you. It might be just temporary.
* And you? You don’t need to prove your worth by checking every box. You are worthy — even when the boxes are still unchecked.

So today, take a deep breath.
Do what matters most.
And let that be enough.
Coaching Reflections:
What actually matters most to you right now, in this season?
What would it feel like to stop chasing “all the things” and focus on a few key things?
How can you give yourself permission to be enough, even when your to-do list takes longer than expected?
Until next time, enjoy the journey!
